The Family Championships

The event is a doubles competition for Fathers and Sons and Mothers and Daughters, all played on a postal basis.

The event is ‘open’ to all, irrespective of age, though an age gap of 20 years must exist between step-parents and step-children as well as adopted children. There will also be a specific event for parents with children aged 14 and under.

Also, players who appear on the ATP or WTA computer rankings are ineligible for the competition. However, they become eligible once they have dropped off said computer for at least five years.
